Lucknow audience danced to Soham's Kamali Photo Lucknow.

On the occasion of the 162nd birthday of Swami Vivekananda ji, at Ramakrishna Math, Nirala Nagar in the city, the solo tabla recital of Soham Mishra, the grandson of renowned tabla player Pandit Sheetal Prasad Mishra ji and younger son of late Dr. Bharat Kumar Mishra ji, was successful. Completed in advance.

In this, while giving a presentation of Teentaal, in the beginning he played Uthaan, Paraal, Prastaar of Banaras Gharana, Ek Chalan in Tisra Jati, the famous Banat of Banaras Gharana, Ram Sahay Ji’s Kaida in delayed rhythm. Then he successfully played a bandish in the middle tempo which was self-composed by Soham, a piece which was taught to him by his father.

In the last fast, Soham played two Bandishes in which he played the Bandish of one Pandit Puran Maharaj, who is the son of Pandit Kishan Maharaj Ji and ended his playing by playing a Kamali Chakradar of Baba Nihal Singh Ji of Punjab.
