The second evening of the Sparrow Festival was immersed in folk culture.

Lucknow: The second evening of the Sparrow Culture Festival was filled with folk songs and dance performances.

Here, the second evening organised by Gauraiya Sanskriti Sansthan in collaboration with the Culture Department and Lucknow Development Authority at the Amphitheater, Lohia Park, Gomtinagar, started with stage presentations by children and youth. Children from the Sur Sagar Institute danced to the song “Chaumasa-Lagyo Re.” Prior to this, Gargi presented the Ganesh Vandana “Gaie Ganpati Jag Vandan.” The children of Sur Sagar also performed a group dance on the song – Main Radha Tu Shyam… while the children of Shiv Sanskriti Kala Foundation presented the group song – Hum Bachche…. Mithu Rai sang the Kajri song “Sawan Ki Barse Badriya” along with the hymn “Ram Naam Japiyo….” Aparna Yadav, Vice President of the Women’s Commission, honored the children at the event.

Madhuri Madhukar Jha and Madhuram Vrind artists who came from Delhi, started with Ganesh Vandana Vakratunda Mahakaya and then gave a captivating presentation of Jai Radha Jai ​​Kunj Bihari…, Dimik Dimik Damru Kar Baje… and Achyum Keshavam Krishna Damodaram…. Today’s last presentation, under the direction of Deshdeepak Mishra, was Putra Kameshti Yagya by Sangeeta Ahuja’s team from Ayodhya. This dance drama presented on stage through mask dance form delighted the audience.

Mr. Customs GST Commissioner Ugrasen Dwivedi, Registrar High Court Mahendra Bhishma, Rashmi Mishra, Kamlesh Pathak, Dr. Shrikant Shukla and other dignitaries honoured senior sub-classical singer Dharamnath Mishra and other artists.

Ranjana Mishra thanked Abha Shukla, Utkarsh Dwivedi, Amit Srivastava, Kumar Keshav, Shashi Verma and said that Gauraiya Sansthan has been working for the promotion of folk culture for the last several years.
