The arrangements on the tabla of Pandit Sheetal Prasad and Soham fascinated me Lucknow.
In the Naad Ras Mahotsav organized in Vrindavan on the occasion of the 20th Prakatyotsav of Shri Priya Priyatam Lal Ju, skilled percussionist of Banaras Gharana and disciple of Kanthe Maharaj, Pandit Sheetal Prasad Mishra and his grandson Soham Mishra mesmerized everyone with their tabla playing. The program was organized from November 4 to November 9.
On the first day of this six-day program, the first presentation was given by Falesh Kumar Srivastava in which he presented several compositions told by his guru Pandit Sheetal Prasad Mishra and in the end Ganesh Paran.
Second presentation: Soham Mishra, the younger grandson of the famous percussionist Pandit Sheetal Prasad Mishra of Banaras Gharana, recited and presented several compositions taught by his first guru, his father, late Dr. Bharat Kumar Mishra and his grandfather Guru Pandit Sheetal Prasad Mishra, in which he presented Pandit Kishan. Maharaj showed his flair in his presentations by playing the compositions of great personalities like Pandit Kanthe Maharaj ji.
At an early age, the skill with which he presented the restrictions of his teachers with the clarity of his words made it seem that the promising Virwan would have become shy.
After that, Pandit Sheetal Prasad Mishra ji gave his presentation through Taal Teen Taal in which he discussed about his many different memoirs and gave presentations by talking about many Bandishos made by himself, one of which was about Navagraha. Tukda, a Gat Parana-like restriction is involved.
