A memorable gathering of music and dance was organized under the International Performing Arts Festival-2025 on the evening of 17 January at Sant Gadge Ji Maharaj Auditorium, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. In the ceremony organized by IPAF Foundation, Ratan Sisters Isha-Meesha, disciples of Pandit Arjun Mishra and Surabhi Singh, gave a vigorous presentation of Rudrashtakam- Namaami Shamishaan Nirvana Rupam….
After this, Tihaaihi, Paran, Ghode ki gait, Chakkar etc. were beautifully presented in 14-matra rhythm Dhamar. In the presentation of the song Apne rang rang de saanwara…. the Ratan sisters displayed a visible harmony of emotion and acting. Earlier, under the guidance of Sunil Shukla, the programme started with a ghazal by Kamal Khan – Tere aane ki jab khabar mahke….
Further, he wrote ghazals like – Whose new greeting was there in your letter…, Stone lover…, As if a complaint was written in your name…, Why do people stop and take care at every turn… and Strange roads in a strange city… Subhash Sharma, Rakesh Arya and Sanjay played instruments well. Nearly 40 artists of BVM and Group of Bal Vidya Mandir, under the direction of Gaurav Singh, performed musical yoga in beautiful combinations and formed a pyramid and received a lot of applause from the audience.
Kuchipudi dancer Priyanka Bhardwaj presented Ekam Ardhanarishwaram, depicting Shiva and Shakti in classical movements and spreading the Navrasa. As guests, former DGP Rizwan Ahmed, Principal of Bal Vidya Mandir Dr. Rakesh Kumar Pandey, Zonal Manager of Bank of India NK Das and officials of Hindustan Petroleum honored the artists along with the team of Sheroj and Naya Savera Foundation.
